Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the visibility and impact of Healthy Climate Wisconsin through strategic communication efforts. This position is responsible for garnering earned media, managing social media platforms, maintaining the organization’s website, writing action alerts, producing regular newsletters, and training health professionals and members on effective communication practices.
Internships, Fellowships, and Practicums
We love serving as a host for professional development and have several ongoing initiatives that can help build communications, policy, stakeholder engagement, resource creation, leadership, and other skills. We have worked with undergrad and graduate students in public health, public policy, physical therapy, nursing, medicine, and other fields on projects like reducing pollution in healthcare, transportation, energy, food, and other social environmental determinants of health.
