A Toolkit for Community Action

Numerous hyperscale data centers have been proposed in Wisconsin without safeguards to protect communities from health harms, runaway energy costs, the destruction of climate goals, and polluted water and air.  Learn what communities can do to take action and win protections for the people and places we call home.

This toolkit covers:

  • The impacts of hyperscale data centers on our state

  • Details on local permitting processes and planning

  • State-level policies, laws, and proceedings

  • Case studies from Wisconsin communities

  • Tools and resources to help you take community action
