Southeastern Wisconsin Advocacy

Our city and county leaders say they don't hear from us about climate change. Let's change that!

As trusted voices, healthcare and public health professionals play a critical role in shaping local climate and energy policies that protect health, advance equity, and strengthen our communities. This page is your hub for opportunities to speak out locally and make your voice heard.

Your Voice Matters in Local Climate Action

As health professionals, we see the health impacts of climate change every day. Bringing that perspective to local decision-makers helps ensure climate policies reflect the needs of our patients and communities.

We will share opportunities to engage with city and county decision-makers, including:

  • Public listening sessions and hearings

  • Budget-related advocacy opportunities

  • Opportunities to connect with your local alderperson, county supervisor, or state representative

  • Community forums
