Planetary health is human health; the two are inextricably linked. The effects of climate change have extended beyond the health of the Earth, and now impact the health of every individual on the planet. Without decisive action, the health of the planet and its inhabitants will continue to worsen and to fully address this challenge, action must be taken. This starts with the education of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
In this one and a half hour webinar, nursing faculty will gain the skills and knowledge to join the AACN, ANA, WNA, and nursing schools around the country in their recognition of this vital issue and incorporation of planetary health principles into their curriculum in ways both big and small.
