Bruce Barrett, MD, PHD
Professor & Vice Chair for Research at Department of Family Medicine & Community Health, UW - Madison
Bruce Barrett received M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the UW – Madison in 1992, then did an international health fellowship with Johns Hopkins University at a WHO research institute in Guatemala. He joined the Department of Family Medicine faculty in 2000, was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2006, full Professor in 2013, and Vice Chair of Research in 2019.

HEATHER ALLEN
Executive Director of RENEW Wisconsin
Heather earned her master’s in International Environmental Policy and has worked with various national and local administrations and councils. She is now the Executive Director of RENEW, which works with regulators, elected officials, residents and businesses to increase access to all types of clean energy.

TERRY BRENNY
Former President/CEO of Stoughton Hospital
Terry graduated from the University of Minneapolis with MHA in Hospital & Health Care Administration in 1976 and has been fully involved in the industry until his retirement in 2018. Terry is married and has daughters & 11 grandchildren. He is strongly passionate and committed to climate change advocacy and mitigation measures to preserve a hospitable world for our kids, posterity and global populations.

ANN BERHMAN, MD
Program Director for the American Academy of Pediatrics' International Community Access to Child Health grants program
Ann is a retired pediatrician for Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin, a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health and Adjunct Faculty for the Center for South Asia.

MONA SARFATY, MD, MPH, FAAP
Executive Director of the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health
Mona is the Director of the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health comprised of 21 medical societies representing over 550,000 physicians. She is a family medicine physician and public health doctor who has engaged in teaching, research, and advocacy for over 30 years. She worked as a Senior Health Policy Advisor for the U.S. Senate Health Committee for 7 years and is the author of widely circulated guides and publications, including many peer reviewed articles and two book chapters on climate change and health.

MARK MITCHELL, MD, MPH, FACPM
Associate Professor, Climate Change, Energy & Environmental Health Equity
Mark is a preventive medicine physician. He has served as the Director of the Hartford, Connecticut Health Department, he chairs the National Medical Association’s Council on Medical Legislation and co-chairs the NMA’s Commission on Environmental Health. He has also served on several U.S. EPA and FDA advisory committees and has received a number of awards for his community and environmental health leadership. He is also the principal of Mitchell Environmental Health Associates, a consulting firm on environmental health and environmental justice issues.

JEFF RICH, BSME
Owner of Green Coulee Consulting, LLC
Jeff has three decades of experience in manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, and energy management and led the development of Gundersen Health System’s Envision Program, including energy conservation and renewable generation projects. He served as a board member for the Gundersen Health Plan and Healthcare Without Harm’s Climate Council Steering Committee. He currently serves as Board Treasurer for Renew Wisconsin and as U.W. Platteville’s Advisory Board Chair for the Sustainability & Renewable Energy Systems major. Jeff retired from Gundersen Health System in 2019 and provides part-time consulting services to the healthcare and energy sectors as owner of Green Coulee Consulting.

RICHARD DART, MD
Research Clinician at Marshfield Clinic Research Institute
Richard is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, practiced as a full-time clinical nephrologist at Marshfield Clinic for 34 years, and now is Emeritus Research Clinician at the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute in the Center for Precision Medicine. He is Co-Chair of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP) Health and Public Policy Committee, and is a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society Council on Legislation. He is a former president of the Wisconsin Medical Society.

ROBYN ROTHMAN, JD
Associate Director, State Policy Programs, Healthcare Without Harm U.S
Robyn is the Associate Director for State Policy Programs at Health Care Without Harm, where she focuses on state policy advocacy. She manages two state-based Health Care Climate Alliances, working with leading health systems to advocate for climate-smart policies and regulations related to clean energy, energy efficiency, clean air, clean water, resilient hospitals and communities, and transportation. She also leads hospital policy engagement in other priority states. Robyn has extensive health policy experience, having worked in the Maryland General Assembly and for Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She has a JD from the University of Maryland School of Law and a BA from Franklin and Marshall College.
